What are vascular lesions? This is a common question. Vascular lesions are a result of unhealthy valves in the circulatory system. They're common amoungst most individuals, however, many of us begin to notice them as we age. These lesions include but are not limited to Rosacea, Spider Veins, Telangiectasia (small red veins on the face), Cherry Hemangiomas (small red, dot like spots), and Spider Angiomas (which have a dot like center with veins coming out from all sides) also known as the spider's kiss.

Performed using our gentle 1064 wavelength targeting the vessels beneath the surface of the skin without damaging the epidermal layer resulting in peeling, post treatment discomfort or long healing times.
Most patients report that laser treatment helps reduce visible blood vessels, flushing and redness. A recent study found that people with rosacea undergoing laser therapy saw a 40 to 60 percent improvement in these symptoms after the second treatment. For this reason we recommend treatments in increments of 3 sessions.
Most patients see lasting results of 2-5 years before new vessels reappear. Note these are in fact new vessels, not the ones broken down by the previous laser treatments. To minimize discomfort during the treatment, as it is noted to be mild to moderate in pain, we offer and recommend a lidocain cream prior to treatment.
ABOUT THE PROCEDURE
Prior to the procedure your skin is cleaned and prepared. Your laser technician will then use a laser wand over the area you want to remove the veins from. Most patients report that the laser therapy feels like being popped with a rubber band.
If you experience discomfort, we have multiple solutions to make you more comfortable, including a prescribed topical anesthetic.
During your free consultation, one of our laser technicians will discuss the procedure with you. They’ll also address any concerns you may have.
The length of the procedure depends on how large the treatment area is. Small areas, like around your nose and cheeks, may only take a few seconds. Large areas may take up to 15 minutes to treat.
You’ll see immediate results after your first session, but it may take 1-5 more sessions to completely eradicate your vascular lesions.
